Cancellation Policy:
For direct bookings only (for third-party bookings, e.g., Booking.com, please refer to the policies on the respective site):
- Cancellation 8+ days before arrival: No charge (excluding deposit) or refund of the prepaid tariff balance minus the 10% deposit.
- Cancellation within 7 days of arrival: Full charge/No refund.
The 10% deposit is non-refundable as it secures your booking and renders those dates unavailable for other potential guests.
Refunds for payments made via credit card will be processed minus the transaction fees.
Credit card/EFTPOS payments are accepted onsite. Note that a 2.5% surcharge applies to credit card payments (including debit credit cards).
To avoid the 2.5% credit card fee on the room tariff, payment can be made at least 7 days in advance via direct bank transfer to:

Please use your booking name as the payment reference and notify us by email once the payment has been made.
Children:
Given the close proximity to the waterfront, the presence of a stream on the premises, and the nature of the terrain, our property is not appropriate for children under the age of 16. We provide an environment that is conducive to couples desiring a respite from children and adult group getaways, making a child-free setting most suitable for our clientele.
Dogs:
We have a resident dog, a friendly Springer Spaniel named Oscar. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate guest dogs due to local wildlife (particularly wekas) and for the comfort of other guests.
Smoking:
Smoking is permitted outside only.

Are you walking in (if so, from where, e.g., Ship Cove), traveling directly to Tawa Cove by water taxi, or arriving by private boat?
Which water taxi service will you be using, and what is your departure time from Picton?
Please inform us if you have any bags/luggage being delivered by water taxi; this is very important, as we won't chase up any missing bags/luggage that we are not expecting
If arriving by private boat, do you require the mooring to be reserved?
For bed configuration - King or Twin Singles - it is essential to specify if you need twin beds, as beds are set up as Kings and cannot be reconfigured upon arrival.
For food or meal orders, please specify if needed and include any dietary restrictions.
